Someone recently asked “what is the cheapest per-GB hosting” on LowEndTalk.
To put some numbers out there:
- $6/month for a 2TB system from Crunchbits
- $8/month for a 2TB system from InterServer
- $10/month for a 2TB system from ServaRica
These providers do run specials from time to time but let’s say that on average, you’re paying about $4 per TB for on-line storage. Usually VPS offers like that come with minimal CPU and RAM (1-2GB), but generous bandwidth on the assumption the system is mainly going to be a data server.
Now what if I told you someone is offering 4TB for 3.5 Euros? That’s about $3.82/month as of this writing…or LESS THAN A DOLLAR PER TERABYTE.
And it comes with 4 cores, 6GB of RAM, and a 10Gbps uplink!
Check out Evos Hosting‘s reply in this thread on LowEndTalk. It’s not an official offer, though…just something they threw out in response to a question. Specs:
- 4TB HDD
- 100GB SSD NVMe
- 6 GB RAM
- 4 Core
- 10Gbit/s
- 1 X IPv4
- 3.50 Euros
How can they offer this?!? Amazing. If you want in, you’ll need to contact @EvosHosting on LowEndTalk. You won’t find it on their web site…LowEnders only!
